The Performance Institute paves the way for $20 MIL Natural Science Foundation plan
The Performance Institute was chosen to design, facilitate and assist in developing the strategic plan for a $20 million National Science Foundation grant to South Carolina, the largest competitive award the foundation has ever granted in that state. The grant will fund a tissue biofabrication project known as “The South Carolina Project,” which could ultimately allow for tens of thousands of people to receive new organs made from their own stem cells.
The Performance Institute was chosen due to its growing expertise and recognition in the strategy and management areas of government science, technology, research and development.
