The Center for Education Performance works to improve the effectiveness and performance of the nation's public education system. Faced with the rising education standards imposed on our nation's schools by the No Child Left Behind Act, the center helps schools and local education agencies by identifying and disseminating best practices, lessons learned and innovative approaches. These methodologies are then applied to funding, school emergency response and safety, professional development, and public and private partnerships.
