Throughout the year, the Performance Institute schedules a number of financial management courses—providing training on all of the topics covered in the Institute's financial management curriculum. Content in each training course is directly aligned to address the financial management standards being implemented in government. Each course will also update attendees on the latest mandates and hot topics from the Office of Management and Budget, Congress, the Office of Federal Financial Management and state and local governments.
Many government managers are now required to receive the formal certification. The Performance Institute can help you obtain a certificate in government financial management through our training program. Completing the training program is easy. Just attend the three “core” courses and choose and additional three “elective” courses based on topics that meet your agency's unique needs. These courses have been designed as high-quality continuing professional education (CPE) in government financial management for all interest professionals.
