Throughout the year, The Performance Institute schedules a number of performance management courses— providing training on all of the topics covered in the Institute's Government Performance Management curriculum. Content in each training course is directly aligned to address the performance management standards being implemented in government. Each course will also update attendees on the latest mandates and hot topics from the Office of Management and Budget, Congress, the Government Accountability Office and state and local governments. Many government managers are now opting to receive a formal Government Performance Management Certification. To address this need, the Institute offers a Certificate in Government Performance Management. Completing a certification program is easy. Just attend the three “core” performance management courses and an additional three “elective” courses based on the topics that meet your agency's unique needs. The skills you acquire will then be used to complete a “demonstration project” on a particular issue that you and our department are facing, which will then be evaluated by an expert member of our staff. |
