Accountability has always been the premise of the charter-school movement. Charter schools must be prepared to measure their success and identify and implement effective measures for ensuring transparency and accountability in their results.

About the Presenter:
Jeff will share his insights and expertise on implementing performance excellence to become a high performing organization.
Jeff has been on the staff of the Baldrige National Quality Program since March 2006 and was recently appointed Deputy Director. Prior to joining the staff, Jeff served on the Board of Examiners as a senior examiner. His professional career has included work in public education, most recently as Program Manager for Student Assessment Services at the Maryland State Department of Education, and in the hospitality industry where he was both a director of food and beverage for a large hotel company and the owner of his own small restaurant. Jeff holds a master’s degree in organizational development from the Johns Hopkins University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the College of William and Mary.
