Module 1
Understand Strategy Maps and Balanced Scorecard Concepts
- Link strategy maps and BSCs to key organizational processes, forming integrated performance management systems to drive results
- Discover how the BSC solves the challenge of strategy implementation
- Learn basic terminology, the four perspectives, importance of cause and effect linkages, the development process and the standard project timetable
Module 2
Strategic Planning and Strategy Mapping
- Identify and select successful BSC design teams
- Learn to build a winning strategy map by developing an interview guide, defi ning strategic themes, identifying objectives and developing cause and effect relationships among objectives
Module 3
Identify Performance Measures
- Learn to assign measures to each objective on the BSC to track performance against objectives
- Understand the categories and types of measures, and the criteria to use when selecting measures
Module 4
Set Measure Targets
- Set targets for established measures to communicate the need for performance changes
- Identify steps for setting targets, what targets should include and how to gain acceptance for aggressive targets
- Learn to grade or score gaps between target and actual performance levels

Inventory and Prioritize Initiatives
- Align programs and projects to the BSC
