Tara Shuert is the Vice President of Education at The Performance Institute. In this capacity Tara oversees development and execution of over 200 quality events per year that promote government accountability and transparency. Tara is deeply involved in driving performance to government at the federal, state and local levels through a series of free research, advocacy projects and national issue conferences.

With a background in human capital management, Tara’s experience includes researching the latest government trends in human capital management and collaborating with key government HR officials to assemble best-practice forums and national summits. As the Vice President of Education, Tara’s primary goals are to transfer knowledge and develop quality events for government administrators who seek to improve their agency’s organizational effectiveness

Tara received a BA in Political Science from SUNY Brockport and a minor in International Studies.
