The 11th Annual HR Technology Conference & Exposition is being held Oct. 15-17 at McCormick Place in Chicago and now the agenda is set, says organizer Human Resource Executive Magazine.
The conference is spearheaded by editor Dave Shadovitz and tech columnist Bill Kutik, who attempt to create an educational program that focuses on what HR executives need to learn today. This year, that means talent management, Web 2.0 and workforce analytics and planning.
The presenters will include senior executives from top companies like Aetna, Capital One, Clorox, Dow Chemical, Gulfstream and Nokia.
Keynote speaker Michael Beschloss, an author, will open the conference.
According to the organizers:
The conference program includes more than 30 educational sessions, including two on Workforce Planning and another on Portals. The most popular session from two years ago, “Cool New Technologies,” is back by overwhelming demand and will include demonstrations of the five “coolest” new software products for Performance Management, Recruiting and other HR functions.
The 2008 agenda includes a new track: Web 2.0 & Innovation. One session featured in this track will update last year’s “Great New Technologies Just for You” by delving deeper into Web 2.0 technologies for corporate and personal productivity. An industry panel comprised of the top HR software executives from Lawson, Oracle and SAP, along with their clients, will discuss the use of Web 2.0 in large companies.
